Gary has over 15 years of experience in Public Accounting, during which time he earned the position of Practice Manager.  This includes not only supervising and mentoring NLP’s accounting personnel and development of firm-wide policies, but direct responsibilities for taxation and IT systems, too.  His accomplishments speak for themselves.  They include:

• Co-developed & implemented estate planning strategies that resulted in millions of dollars in savings.
• Spear-headed NLP’s response to increasing cybersecurity concerns and developing new, cost-effective systems to address those concerns for our firm’s IT systems.
• Reorganized/restructured and streamlined several multi-entity corporations to realize hundreds of thousands of dollars in operational and tax savings.
• Represented and negotiated with the IRS, Commissioner of Accounts (Trusts), & other government entities, very successfully – drawing several incoming clients per year due to verbal referrals.
• Co-created & implemented:
  • Tax strategies on an annual basis that saved multiples of NLP fees for numerous clients.
  • Customized accounting systems for clients in a wide range of industries.
• Developed staff training systems: compilation and tax preparation programs, alongside recommending courses for their career development.
